Hello Everyone!
I have stock 65L tank on my FJ, and since we are approaching our first Liwa drive, i wanted to know if it makes sense fitting extra fuel tank like the one that comes with newer FJs, or just stick to carrying Jerry cans aboard,
and if fitting the extra tank is the preferred choice, is it just a plug and play fit or there are other components that needs to be changed like the fuel pump for example?
thanks in advance!

my FJ has auxiliary tank which was fitted by the previous owner. from what i heared and read and been told by modification garages that they fit a second tank and make a connection between the two tanks. so when the main tank is empty you need to switch on a pump in the auxiliary tank to fill the main tank. ideally you need to fit a gauge for the auxiliary tank too.
you can ask garages to quote you for this job. i heared it would cost around 4 to 5 thousands.
