A man with personality, respect, command, and his own unique style of driving — Marshal @Daggerfall
Today’s drive by our Marshal was a true 10th-level experience. Apart from the technical switching of crests, everything was executed seamlessly, always above the second level of challenge. One could easily call it pure talent in motion.
It was an absolute pleasure driving behind you, Marshal @Daggerfall Am sure all the drivers felt the same. The drive was not only thrilling but also a great test of skill for our newbies— and perhaps made a few sweat along the way! But that’s exactly where the real value was: a drive designed for better learning, sharper awareness, and deeper understanding for the future adventures.
I hope every driver enjoyed the experience. More importantly, that everyone returned home with a sense of accomplishment, having learned something new and valuable today.
Once again, thank you Marshal @Daggerfall for leading with such mastery. Wishing you continued success — and looking forward for many more drives along side you.
Thank you explorers @Ehab @David @CARLOSS @orlantsev for your continued support. See you all in next drive.

Hi everyone,
Another successful trip & master class delivered by @Daggerfall , this time with the newbies -10 in Sweihan finishing in Nagra. Same as last week with the interm (1st part of the drive) but with the level adjusted to our “baby” drivers.
Sundays seem to be the new Saturdays as there was plenty of convoys…even though we got started very early, at 6:30am convoy was moving, it was like somebody was giving Coopers for free
. Not less than 50+ cars having fun in the same area which made the vigilance of the convoy extremely important. For that, the three musketeers @Ehab , @David and myself did our best for keeping the convoy safe
Usual stucks and second tries for this level with any significant incident which is very good in this area. Convoy did well and played safe. Our inter colleagues and advance also played a significant role so congrats to them too.
See you soon.
Carlos

Hello Guys ,
The trip started right on time at 6:30 AM and turned out to be a very technical and demanding drive, with unpredictable turns, steep climbs, and high-speed stretches that kept us fully focused.
I initially struggled with tire pressure rising every 10 minutes, but with Carlo guidance it was quickly resolved. The track required full attention as losing sight of the car in front was not an option.
Many thanks to Carlo, David, Ehab, Orlantsev, Nidal, and Bob for their constant support, and a special thanks to Daggerfall for organizing such a well-planned and thrilling drive—it was truly an unforgettable experience. Looking forward to joining more of your drives in the future

Hi Almosters,
It was another beautiful Saturday morning with fellow members. It seems the word is out that Sweihan dunes are clean and fresh, as we saw many other off-roaders out on Sunday morning.
I’d like to take a moment to emphasize our club’s philosophy: our focus is always on training and developing our members. The structure of our trips is designed to make everyone independent and confident off-roaders. We don’t just go out and drive randomly just for fun (Although we have a lot
) — every drive at a particular level is tailored to that level, helping members build skills and confidence step by step.
This weekend, we applied many different techniques and tackled a variety of obstacles. We also had incredible support from our Explorers @David @CARLOSS and @Ehab , Advanced @orlantsev , and Intermediate members @bobpavan and @nidal78 — which reflects the true culture of our club: giving back.
This is how we were taught and guided by the amazing people before us, and it’s the same culture we hope to pass on to you, and the next generation, with even greater development.
Thank you all once again, and see you on the next adventure!

Hello,
it was very pleasant weather on Sunday morning and it was totally worth the early wake up call. The sunrise was when I was 2/3 of the way to the meeting point.
It was wise of an organizer to set the meeting point 1 km away from the entrance, otherwise it could have been confusing for our new members due to other groups meeting at the same time. The ratio of support to participating drivers was more than 1-to-1, so everyone was well taken care of.
I have not been joining newbie drives for some time, and it was pleasure to see a bit of mix in vehicles.
When I pulled Bronco from the crest I was not sure how strong the recovery points were, so I did is gently as I could and next time we can go a bit harder on it.
As usual some plastic parts were sacrificed to the desert. I must tell you that it is heavenly pleasure to put a knife through the shiny flesh of Nissan Patrol without any guilt or compassion :)
Those who attended should be very pleased to have gained some skills ahead of cooler weather and more enjoyable conditions.
Best wishes

Drive organized and lead by Daggerfall, very pleasant weather at the start.
Small convoy of 5 Newbie 10- members with Nidal and Bob as support inside the convoy and Orlantsev floating.
Small convoy but still very different experience levels, some members reaching their 10th drive and others just their 5th, 5 drives at this level makes a big difference as it is a time when you learn fast.
Pace was good with a considerable number of arches being the main type of obstacle that was being practiced.
2 issues/situations that I believe need to be mentioned:
- Distance. Still not being kept correctly by some cars, this is very important and for your own safety, if you do not see the car in front you don´t have reference point and in an area like Sweihan with so many tracks you are very likely to end up following the wrong one.
- Arches. It is all about entering at the right angle and speed (and that why so important to see what is happening with the car in front). If you do you will see how the car flows effortless towards the exit point, if otherwise you end up having to beg your throttle for extra help half way you will end up fighting gravity and in trouble, if this is the case ALWAYS turn the front of your car down or aim for a lower arch, NEVER fight gravity, she always wins.
Thanks to everyone that attended the drive and specially to Daggerfall for organizing and a great lead.
See you on the sand soon.

Good Day Almoster's
It was a pleasure driving with all of you. Early morning woke up and raced to the meeting point, weather was pleasant and with a quick briefing off we went at 0630 hrs as per the schedule.
The drive was fast paced and techinical with some god arches and climbs Marshal @Daggerfall lead the way and made sure it was suitable for all the drivers with second lead @bobpavan and explorers @Ehab @David @Carlos floating and keeping everyone on the track and safe.
Thank you @Ehab for the rescue when i got stuck
Again it was a pleasure driving such an experienced Marshal and support team
See you guys on the sand.

It took me a year to finally complete 5 drives with the Club. Hope it won't take me 1 more year to achieve 10.
One thing I realized on this "little bit technical" I will soon reach the limit of my poor Nissan Patrol. Front and rear bumper need to be fixed/ upgraded after the drive.
It was a real honor for us 5 newbies to be guides by a marshall, 3 explorers, 1 advanced and 2 intermediate drivers.
Couple of personal lessons :
1. pay extra attention to follow the right track. cost me the 2 bumpers when I ended in a bowl I should not have tried to ride through.
2. on the flip-side, I felt it was important to know to stop early enough and anticipate when the car in front will get in trouble. Got myself in trouble of couple of times as a consequence of stopping / slowing down at a wrong place (half-way on a climb basically)
3. first time doing a series of arches. a bit intimidating at the beginning, but as long as I don't fight gravity, exit is safe. "Take a shorter arch whenever the cars starts struggling"
Otherwise, a big thank you again to the support team as I feel it's the drive where I have learnt the most.

Hello All,
Amazing Drive scheduled by Daggerfall, Absolutely loved driving on the big dunes with all the big climbs and drops.
This was a follow up drive to the last drive of Little bit technical, luckily i was in both drives.
Had a lot of fund driving on bigger dunes and on the arches and climbs and falls.
Small convoy helped the Marchal and the support crew to concentrate on the track.
I managed following as much as i could, didnt not stuck or any second attempt. Got some dirt in my car MAF, and the support team rushed to sort it out, special thanks to all of them @Ehab @David @Carlos for sorting the issue on the spot.
Looking forward for the next technical drive.
Special thanks to @Daggerfall for arranging the drive
