I'm Slavic and also used for snow, but the sun in the height of 3,000 m on iceberg is more dangerous then our sun here in Gulf deserts.

Good sunblock with factor 20 can make a good protection temporary. The best protection is to have your skin to be trained for the sun; the best way is to join as much as possible almost4x4 trips !
