Hello Guys
Congratulations to all the challengers—@Ahmedalabassi , @Aljamhi , @Haidy79 , @King , @Moustafa and @virginiasz You all did an amazing job.
I have never cooked BBQ before, and this was my first real attempt. That’s when I realised I don’t have the right equipment, so I spent a few days getting everything ready. Big thanks to Shamsi for helping me pick the right products at the best prices .
Around 5 PM, I packed everything into my car and drove to the entry point. The route was completely new to me, and for a moment I thought I’d taken the wrong way. It was about a 90-minute drive. Once I arrived, I met Virginia and Shamsi, and I headed to the camping point.
I couldn’t believe my eyes—around 20 cars, banners everywhere—it felt like a full-on BBQ festival. I greeted everyone and was thrilled to meet @zico . The challengers were already getting ready, and the energy was great.
I unloaded my BBQ gear, got the fire going, and started cooking. My first batch went well, and I offered some of the food I cooked to a few members—hope they liked it! If it wasn’t great, sorry, it was my first time. Seeing the challengers in action quickly showed me they were on a whole different level and seriously impressive.
The judges were focused and thorough, tasting everything like true MasterChefs. In the end, Heidy won the title Meat & Great 9, King was the runner-up, and all the challengers received gifts they truly deserved. I even got an amazing gift for voting for Heidy.
There was also a surprise birthday celebration for @alshamsi_m and @Warrior12 , who share the same birthday on the 11th. The cakes looked amazing, and the whole event was full of energy, fun, and positive vibes.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience. I missed the camping part of the event and @siddharthsai spicy chicken, which he was supposed to cook, which was a bit
,but the BBQ and the people made it truly amazing. I hope next year I’ll be ready to participate as a challenger for Meat & Great 10.
A big thank you to the Almost 4x4 management team for organising such an amazing event. Everything was smooth, fun, and memorable.
