Hello everyone,

My name is Tom and just new to actual living in the UAE after giving up my travelling lifestyle and deciding to settle down together with my wife Laarni.
As we just bought a Ram Rebel, we are looking forward to have some great desert fun, however no experience yet.

Looking forward to the next club member drive to explore this great country!

Hi Tom,

welcome to the family, all you need to do now is keep an eye in the form, in the coming days they would create an event for new members which you can join, also to speed up the process I'd suggest you read the link below these are a must have equipment to join all trips after the initial induction trip.

from experience its better to purchase all list of equipment before your first trip and at the end of the trip one of the Marshalls would pass by your car and verify your equipment if all the items are as per the specifications they will change your membership to Newbie "which will allow you to join further trips"

I had my first trip in November, if I'd guess I'd say the next new joiners trip would be next year and not this year.

Newbie Tools / Recovery Equipment link below

good luck.
Never met a desert sunset I didn't like. :relieved:

Hi Bill,

Thanks for the information and will certainly get all stuff before the first ride, as I see them as basic requirements myself.
Great to have a shopping list though..

Anxiously waiting for that first member trip post!

Welcome Bud!

If you decide to buy the equipments beforehands, please check the required list, it has photos and explanations... in case of doubt let us know.
