Ridges Game

Ridges Game was a fantastic drive in the (new for me) Nahel desert, which surpassed expectations, and turned into a ‘classic’ Yoghybear-led trip.
We rode those ridges, smoothing-out almost all of them along the way! There was a nice small convoy and we seemed to have done it all: from difficult ‘egg basket’ dunes, fast sabkha , bigger dunes as we approached Sweihan, and a really fast track to finish off the morning. A great deal of fun, and I would love to drive there again soon!
I should be studying the ‘form’ for the horse racing at Meydan this evening, but I just had to write my report as it was so much fun!

The Ridges Game was as ginger said a classic yoghybear trip a really nice smooth evenly paced drive with lots of side cresting. The sand was extremely soft in a couple of places where misplacing a tyre by 30cm meant a 2nd round. I really enjoyed the area and the style of the drive. Cant wait to continue exploring the UAE! Very short report from me today as i've been all over the place this weekend and am pretty tired.

PS. The border check points between here and Hatta are currently closed to expats, they turn you around and ask you to go via Maleha. Just a note if anybody thinking of going up there.
