WOW I must say this was one of my best Drives Special thanks to Bu Salim for awesome Lead.

So here is what happened.

20+ off roaders meet at nazwa shops, split into two convoys, 5- and Maybe I was in Maybe convory lead by Bu Salim and Abu Jimmy as sweeper.

Briefing time:
Bu Salim: Today we are going Safari Style, it will be fast and quick so you have to be quick and keep the distance, same speed and follow the rhythm.

and this is all I heard and we were off to dessert, and the moment sand touched the tire it was just like start of a roller coaster lead by bu salim and everyone following him like cat and mouse game :)

we had little technical issue with a couple of cars which after about half an hour were escorted to the road and rest of the team carried on with the drive, although we lost some precious time while fixing the issues but bu salim made sure we did what we came for, bu salim started the drive with amazing pace with high dune and more high dunes and more high dunes then drops then big drops then Marlbro drop :) , we reached Pink rock and then bu salim showed us something I've never experience before some really steep climbs, I simply loved it. It was really Safari Style.

I must say I am enjoying my Jeep more than ever, and today i could feel it that I was pushing it to the limit and it was giving me full response, till the last 100 Meters of end point Bu Salim made sure that we enjoyed and reached end point on time.

Special Thanks to Bu Salim
Special Thanks to Abu Jimmy for endless support all the way ( a great quality)
and special thanks to all the member who joined us, it was pleasure driving with you guys.

Hope to see you soon in sands.

We divided in two convoys, Main Convoy and Maybe convoy lead by Bu Salim and Abu Jimmy as sweeper.

We proceeded with a swift pace and drive in a Safari Style. We stopped for some time due to the technical issue with few cars. Ends at Badayer Shops at 10:30am.
Thanks Almost4x4 for such a memorable trip.

Dear Members

This is the first time in our history we come to situation where our patient marshals come disappointed from a drive. No matter how hard is the weather or the terrain or even some slow members, you always going to see our marshals dealing with a smile.
In this convoy you got the best of us:
1. Zico : Rally co-driver and one of the best guardians when things go wrong .
2. Alkhatib : One of the best leading marshals in UAE.
3 . Caprihorse : Our chief Marshal.
4. Althahab : One of the best local marshals in the country.

One of them is just enough for such a small convoy like this one but :
1. When people don't listen with their mind not their ears -WE CAN'T HELP YOU.
2. When we explain to you how to do it and you think that you know better - WE CAN'T HELP YOU.
3. If you think that our drive is not up to your expectations, please let us know - WE ARE GOING TO ESCORT YOU BACK TO ROAD.

I am really sorry to write this but it is TWO ways traffic " We promise you OUR BEST , you show us some RESPECT ".

Till then, hope to see our real family members in the sand .... oh yeah one more thing for the maybe convoy "You Rock Guys"

Cheers

Good morning my dear friends

before talking about our convoy I was shocked to read Bu Salem's report, something really shocking must have happened that made such an awesome, always smiling, positive and open minded guy to speak in such a negative way.
I think it will be good for all of us to know what exactly happened, so we all shall learn the lesson together, after all this is what we all do hear.

RESPECT is EARNED not GRANTED,,,,,, and our Marshals have earned the respect all the way from day one not only because they all are good looking,, but because of there dedication and there great volunteer's spirit.

I had a friend with me in the convoy yesterday, he was so impressed by all of you guys, but what shocked him most is that all this is for free !!!!, when I explained to him that there is no registration fees, no club membership fees, no fees for the trip, his replay was then "why they are doing this???" the only replay I could give him was "simply because they are good people"

please remember that the marshals and advanced drivers can simply gather as a group and take of and enjoy themselves in the desert, every week, why would they take the trouble, putting effort into teaching us taking responsibility of our safety, taking care of our individual need, coping with our moods and differences, and holding themselves from enjoying the drives (because there skills are much more advanced than ours),,, and smiling while doing that!!! anyone who does not respect that is "sorry for saying" a very bad person.

these were my feeling reading Bu Salem's report, just wanted to share it with you.

Now back to our convoy, I was lucky yesterday morning to be moved with the big boys..... and what a drive it was..... i was driving and screaming waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw all the way, I had such an adrenalin boost that will last for long, but made me thirsty for more, I love this Safari style, its like endless roller coster, that needs a lot of concentration, and driving skills, marshals kept pushing us to the limit to cop up with the fast pace, that was thrilling experience,, more of the same please.......

Huge thank you to all the marshals and advanced drivers,, you all were our guarding angels

we had no stucks, no driving related problems, only minor technical issues that stopped us for a while, but we needed the break anyway
than you all my "desert knights" friends its an honer and a big pleasure to ride with you ......

Good Afternoon All,

Thanks for the wonderful Friday morning drive.

I was in the Main convey lead by Alkhatib, Caprihorse and Faisal Althahab...

Really fast drive few more strucks and one mistake from my side... I lost the convey and followed another group by mistake...Through the Radio Faisal Althahab and Carprihorse helped me out...Thanks to both of them..

I noticed in our convey some of them don't have club sticker on the back side..That why i was confused and so followed another group.

Any way i apologies for the mistake....

Thanks to all

Hope to see u soon in sands.....
