Yet , another joyful day with Almost4x4 members , we all met at Emarat petrol station , where i got the chance to meet our new club members in person and add faces to the names i read in the trip list . The morning breeze was a chill and the mood for off roading was high . moved to deflating point , had a detailed briefing for our first timers , build the convoy and into the desert we marched .
We had a very interesting track , which was rich in terrain( lovely climbs and drops ) and with a fascinating sight seeing ( grass land escapes , trees and dunes ). all the credit goes to Youghy for such a wonderful lead . all the drivers did a marvelous job especially the new comers ( very few stucks and no pop outs ) who had the chance to watch our founder " Bu Rashid " recovering a solo vehicle ( not from our convoy ) which was in a very bad position facing a big rock in descent ( this guy went to the desert alone and was caught by surprise with no one around to help . it was a good lesson to our members , " never go to desert alone " , always go in a convoy ( at least two more vehicles to be with you ). after this informative break , we continued our way to end point where we inflated and hit the road back home after a well spent morning in fine weather and great company .
Special thanks to Bu Rashid , Youghy and Melfi for their help and support .
Great salute for all participants for making this trip such fun and joy .
