Hi
The one thing worth looking at..... available tire options.
15" rims seem to have lots of 32" and 33" tires available. This size is very 'old school' in the US. esp the rock crawlers.
17" rims seem to have lots of 34" and up..... popular in US. Also 33" tires on 17" rims look funny, to me. Too much rim, not enough tire.
16" seems to be a bit lost for tires. I think it makes a good compromise. I may look at them next.

16" rim size is the best what can be offered, in respect of tyre size, yes this magical number 70 in 275/70R16 is the hit in the height at deflation and the weight of the tyre itself. All other bigger tyres are extremely heavy.
