This discussion could go on and on and has been probably asked before!
What should I buy considering the ride as plain off-road toy for the weekend in more desert terrain than mountains?
16" or 17" rims? Y?
33" tires or what? Y?

Your input is highly appreciated:003:

Hi Nancy

Is this for a Jeep JK ?

What rims / tires did you have before ?

I took the advice of Khatib, and got BFG 33" x 12,5" x 15" and the GT 15" x 10" rims from Sharjah.
I am very happy.

You are welcome to drive my Jeep, or borrow the wheels..... if you don't want to risk my Jeep, before making a purchase.

Regards

Hi Nancy

The gearing on the 2012 has a different ratio on 6th. Its 0.797.

Mine has the 3.21 : 1 axel ratio and on 33" tires @ 120 km/h in 6th, you get about 1900rpm.... Not very usable. It is begging for a re gear.

Just give it some thought......

Regards
