There is definitely another issue, try to charge the battery at home, from normal power supply.

I just picked up a copy of Outdoor UAE Advanced Off Road Adventure Routes and there is a CD ROM with all the waypoints. I also have a Garmin Montana 650 (recommended by a fellow Almoster), and I'm trying to figure out how to load the routes and waypoints into the Garmin. I have checked Google and have not been able to find any information/instructions/guides...
