As a late reporter it is not much left to say. This time we deflated after we left the meeting point. Before I realized the sand conditions were different I had already deflated to about 11 psi. Since it was already time to move I reluctantly decided to give it a go. For the first 10 minutes or so of the drive I was really worried that I would experience the first pop-out. Since this thought really made me uncomfortable I decided to think more positively ... at least I will learn to change the tire in the desert conditions and try all the tools. However, the car was performing pretty much as usual and did not give me any worries. Aside from that the drive was very enjoyable as the convoy proceeded at reasonably fast pace with very few hiccups. I also enjoy the relaxed conversation with fellow divers at the end of the journey as we inflate and have a snack. Almost 4*4 is really a diverse group and it is great to meet people from different walks of life.
