It was a surprise to me to see such a trip announced....Solo night drive...WOW
For me it was really a challenge as I do not have much normal night drive in my record but I was so excited and longing for the challenge.

We all met at Nazwa shops and were ready to move, coordinates (7 points) were sent via SMS and the raffle started and my name was the first name to go and the real challenge started; it is only me, my car, my GPS and the desert....the full more helped a lot as well.

slowly slowly I started to be more relaxed and start to enjoy the drive in safe manner, after the third point the track became more enjoyable with lovely dunes.
I completed the whole track (34 km) within one hour and 40 min and was the first one to reach ADNOC Tayba and Almosters started to come one by one until everybody reach safe with big smile of faces, chit chat before say good bye to the team who does not want to camp and join the Treasure Hunt 2.0 trip.

The second exciting part was to drive from ADNOC to the camp area with Hockey which was another great night drive as shown below, we were lucky enough to pass though Bu Salem secret area behind the fossil rock (given to us in one of our trips) and I was happy to be able to climb the same area which I could not climb that day :killzonesmiley:.

We reached late to the camp (1:20 am) and enjoy the cold weather with chit chat with Almosters enjoying the great Hamdan's Karak, it was a pleasure to get in touch with you guys. went to bed around 3:00 am to get ready for the next day trip.
Thank you Hamdan, Abu Jimmy, Al Katib and the rest of the Marshals for this great exciting opportunity :like: and your efforts and support.
Thank you for Hockey for the great second part
Thank you for the rest of my friends for the lovely company.

BTW, while I am driving between the points in the middle of nowhere I received another SMS from Al Khatib with coordinates...OMG are they changing the points now :whut: hehehehe (actually it was the same SMS but sent twice and received late)

Video of the trip (only start recording from Camel rock)

Looks tough driving at night Bu-Shahid. At the very end of your video it seems somebody before you left their front bumper in the sand at the base of the ditch! As you were leading I guess it was none of the Solo Bats! I have tried night driving once before but standard factory lighting is just not good enough to show the way ahead in the dark desert night! Thanks for posting the video.
