We felt like outlaws sneaking past the army and Bedouin camps ...

This was a unique drive through a section of the Sharjah desert with lots of vegetation. At one point we were surrounded by trees and lush green farms.
The drive was really relaxing and fun ... we even had a water balloon fight , thanks to Betty Po ...
Bu Salem lead us to the Coffee dunes ... these dunes are sprinkled with round, black boulders resembling coffee beans . From there it was back to Tawi.

Everyone drove well making it a smooth trip with very little stoppage.

Thanks Bu Salem for sharing this area of the desert with us
Thanks Yoghybear for the recoveries and support
Thanks Caprihorse for ensuring that the convoy stayed together
Thanks to my fellow offroaders for making this another exciting trip

First of all....stopping time was less than a third! That's amazing!

The plan was to gate crash the convoy hiding behind the army camp and then throwing one water bomb at each newbie when passing to scare them! :026:
That did not quite work out as I was running late leaving a mess in the bathroom trying to fill 50 balloons at 5.30 in the morning!
Well, after a bit of a Solo drive to 'don't know where am going' I finally asked Bu Salem for Coords as following some left tracks from whom ever did not help to catch up with all you guys.
It was a fun drive and I enjoyed the route in the forgotten terrain which is so close by.

Thanks all especially to the brave fasting guys!

thank God the weather was great for this time of year...we did not see the sun till 9 am:triumphant:
we went though great areas and all were new for me and I think the same for most of us. thank you Bu Salem for sharing the great places, the drivers did very well and the trip went very smooth and enjoyable with some challenges from time to time.
Around 60 km of off-roading was a great experience for me...:like:
many thanks for Bu Salem, Capri, Yoghybear and the rest of the drivers

see you in sand soon

It takes effort to wake up extra early on Friday mornings. However, this drive was so worth it.

Thanks Bu Salem for the lead. It was fun and I learned a lot.

Thanks Capri, Yoghy (and Raf) for recovery and support.

Thanks to the advanced driver I was tailing the whole drive, I forgot I was a newbie, followed his tracks and fell on a bush. And the paparazzi was there to document the whole thing. :Psmiley:

Thanks to all the other drivers. It was a good day.

See you all again next time.
