Today was a lot of firsts, first drive on a Saturday, and first drive lead by Singh, and first drive I really enjoy since the lockdown, last drive I felt so out of shape both physically and mentally, I even thought I lost my passion for driving but I'm so glad I joined today's drive to get it back even stronger than before,

I think the radio silence was a testament on how well today's flow was, the area had a lot of traffic even on a Saturday but Singh didn't leave a crest untouched, the flow was so good I felt totally in the zone, went from total silence to playing music to turning up the volume more and more as the drive went by,

So glad to have another amazing addition to our leaders team in Singh, and now I know that whatever Scorpio is cooking, it's always so much fun!! thanks guys! Was an amazing morning!

Hi All,

First drive lead by @SINGH . An intermediate drive :)) . I was nominated the 2nd lead. Singh maxed out the area from Madam to Badayer. He left no fresh track untouched,
even dominated the tracks, already been roughed up. There were only few 2nd tries.
No major hick ups apart the pickup truck had some differential issues.

Thanks a lot Singh for a beautiful drive and a funday! Wish to follow your lead on many more drives to come! Thank you too to Scorpio for looking around the convoy & thanks @SameRaptoRed for the icecreams! ;)

It's always fun to be out on the sand. Lines were good, fluidity of the drive was decent. Enjoyed it until my 4wd went to 3wd and ended up in 2wd as my front diff started to disintegrate. I ended up driving out in 2wd.

Cheers all.

It was a nice area to drive, and since we came on Saturday, it was (almost) free of other cars. The track was great and the flow was smooth. We enjoyed the quietness of the desert so much that we kept also a radio silence, until @SINGH reminded us to report second tries :).

Sorry for @Adam that he had to abort, but ask him next time about his Saudi desert experience, it's a remarkable story.

Thanks @SameRaptoRed for the ice cream, @SINGH for a great ride, @Scorpio for the organization and all others for the company.

P.S. As of now there have been no announced drives and I thought it was because I am a bad boy and haven't provided my report. Let's see what happens now!

Hi All,

“License to Drive”, as it was my first drive as a Lead, so I choose this name. Thanks @Scorpio for assisting in posting the drive for me and for the support during the drive.

The area selected was not new, earlier we use to have many drives in that area.

Start point: Madam Farms.
End point: Badayer Shops.

Plan was to cover the 07 main points of that area. It was a nice little convoy, a perfect number of cars with experienced drivers. What else one need to have a nice drive. Started with some warm up at both sides of the 1st Big dune. Being Saturday, it was expected to find less traffic in the area. However, we still came across a couple of convoys though. We managed to navigate through majority of the etched dunes which were having tracks from the Friday rush and went on to a good number of fresh dunes. Flattened majority of sharp nice crests to leave a mark of our Almost4x4 convoy. Flow was nice, the convoy members drove well and I hope all must have enjoyed the drive.

Only one breakdown due to a technical issues in the car. Scorpio navigated the car and the driver safely to a nearby exit point and joined us back at Super bowl. The drive ended well in before the scheduled time, as we had very few second tries, no stuck and no pop outs.

Thank you @Scorpio for your support and thanks to our Intermediate drivers @optimus , @kareem.alameldin , @Petr , @SameRaptoRed (for Ice cream also) & @Adam for joining and making this a successful drive.

See you all in Sand soon.....
