Welcome, nice Jeep!

Just out of interest, have you changed the Ring & Pinion to run the 37's?

Hi. Thanks.
No not yet. Currently its on a set of borrowed Rubicon axles with 4.10 gearing.
But I have ordered a Dynatrac ProRock 44 front axle with 5.13 gearing and will regear the rear axle at the same time, when the front is replaced.

How do you find it on the 4.10's? I'm looking into various tyre size options at the moment so advise is welcomed.

I have the 4.10 ratio and was looking at maybe going to 35's.

4.10 is okay, but not fantastic with 37" tires. Its kinda uncomfortable when it goes into overdrive. It makes a little "bump" or "jump" in the car. Can't wait to get 5.13 and have it feel like stock performance again. I think for 35" tires, you would probably want 4.88 gear ratio all depending on your type of driving and needs.

Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it.

Not sure if you are aware but there is a Club Member drive planned for the 15th, it will be announced on the forum a few days before for registration. You need to do a CM drive and meet the guys before you can do any more advanced drives etc. so they can check your tools and make sure you are safe.

hopefully see you out on the sand soon...

Thank you. Unfortunately I am working on the 15th, so I can't join. Next time I would like to go.

hello and wlecome to the forum.

We rarely see 37" tires in the desert, most of people are on 33 (285/70R17) and 35 (315/70R17).
