How do I know that my sign-up for a trip is successful?

Hi [MENTION=11256]Desertleo[/MENTION], if you look back in the original post, to the right of it there is a list with trip participant list.
If you've signed-up successfully, your name will be there.

For this trip specifically I don't see your name and I guess we will never see it since the admission is only for newbies and above and you are still listed as a club member.

Yes, there are events organized also for club members, so that they can become newbies.
