No you don't have to, you can be taken to the road if you need to leave earlier.

I am not sure if I was a part of it at all, and failing!!!!!!!!! you should check the picture in my profile, I am from a country where the R gear is removed (from our brains not only cars) and we don't know what means the word fail.

Hi Jerome74 , all almost4x4 camps are an overnighter camp trips and usually there is no return convoys arranged by the Marshals . You may be accomodated by any Intermediate or advanced driver leaving the camp site on his own if any . or escorted to main road by @hamzahng as he already volunteered to do so by answering your question ...
