Why don't we start posting some photos we take of those creatures we share the desert with? There really is a lot to see out there! Saw this little guy (about 50cm long) this morning near Iftar bowl. I believe it is a desert monitor lizard and some can be aggressive when cornered.

Found this little guy outside my house this morning. I believe there are over 28 types of Dragonflies within the UAE! Just another 27 to find then......!!

Hello everyone,

look what I have come across during our Liwa Free Styler. Sort of desert mouse (as Bu Salem told, this small creature belongs to hamster's family). I tried to google it, but didn't find who is it exactly. So me and [mention]margarita[/mention] named her curious mouse "Ekaterina"

That's a desert Gerbil! Can tell from the "kangaroo" type feet! Good job [mention]elena[/mention] in catching it on film! They are very shy And thanks for posting it!
