Any assistance / help / directing would always be appreciated.

I have the Hexcopter, GoPro and gyro stabilised gimbal.
This gimbal will hold the GoPro still in 2 axis. Horizontal and vertical (no pan)
To pan you need to fly the copter clockwise or anticlockwise.
You can tilt the GoPro up and down via the radio.

I can video like this, but it would be "blind"

What is need to buy is a Video Transmitter / Receiver and a small 7" LCD screen to be able to "see" where the GoPro is pointing.
The screen needs to be bright enough to see the image while outdoors.

I need a little time to get it all together.....(read $$$$)

I also have little faith in untested flying things, so need to do more test flights, esp with the simulated load of the camera and transmitter.
I would hate to destroy all the equipment in a stupid crash.

It is VERY easy to fly and holds hight and position very well via a GPS lock.

A non RC pilot could learn to fly one very easily......

Going to be fun.

Great, it looks to be very exciting shooting. At the moment, I think, you don't need to go for LCD screen, wide angle lenses, provide enough space, to have attractive footage. I have a very clear idea, how we can do it together :redbullsmiley:

Why do you need the transmitter ?
In go pro 3 you have the option to see what you are capturing on your smart phone using go pro application and have full control of you go pro cam
Including but not to start, stop, change settings...etc
i am using the same in my gopro 3
if you havs the go pro 2, I would be more than happy to participate using my cam.

There are 2 problems with the GoPro 3 / iPhone connection.

- The range is very poor.
- The 2.4 Ghz connection is on the same frequency as out RC radios and has had major interference issues.

i tried it in short distance and was OK, never try far distance.
