while browsing the net I came across this interesting video on how to start a fire using water which might come handy for you one day

Very effective. Remember this I slightly burn my toe playing with my brother after our science teacher show us this method. LOL :059: Might try this again during daylight barbecue.

When i read the topic i thought it is something involving sodium, which is one of the ways shown. As far as i know, sodium can react and burn (depending on the quantity it can blow :) ) even with the humidity in the air so it is contained in oil. Touching can be hazardous too considering the water in your skin (as the guy in the video also uses a spoon). Another thing is, it cost a small fortune to buy and i don't know if it is something easy to reach... So i guess we still need a solution for cloudy times :))
