MaddieTJ, how did you come to the idea, that we are an Arabic Club? Did you ever bother to read this section? - http://www.almost4x4.com/ The section About Us????

We all want to understand what you want to say and reply to you... If you are typing your thoughts, who except you and few can understand it???

BTW, your Arabic is a bit not conventional, Google cannot understand it...

O قلصنا people without Strap without Shackle ČÓ bitumen is ĺĺĺĺĺĺĺĺ God bless you

Sorry Marshal Capri. ... What I said is ' we never thought about straps or shackles and have been towing for years'

We used camel ropes to tow landcruiser and landrovers since we were kds in Khawaneej, we had a 1979 landrover pickup to learn driving and usually drove with full tire pressure and 2wd. ... Never drove in badayer till I bought my jeep and got stuck within the first fifty metres. ... The sand is different marshal, caorser grains??

Hehe, sand is sand as it says, it does not matter on the coarse structure or colour. If the car gets stuck in the sand in the flat area, the driver shall think about following factors:
  1. To look at tyres pressure from perspective of sand conditions and not looking at his pressure gauge, which is showing just a number
  2. To check if the 4WD is on and working
  3. To be sure that hand brake is not engaged

I like the idea :)

Good day Chief Marshal,

I looked around my rig and could only find a couple of factory tow poins, one on the front bumper, one below the rear bumber, tiny ones actually !!!

Went to Autoplus in Dubai and bought two tow steel hooks rated 10000 lbs. .. to be bolted on by two bolts (the guy said i could use the factory bolts too) but thesde are to be bolted on top of the front bumper where the factory point is ... What do you advice Mon Marshal??

The factory points can take shackles in them if needed but as I said, are tiny.

Pleeeaaassseeee help
