Hi All,
You all might have met me in one of the rides or must have heard about me
The guy in red pathfinder :028:
The guy in white pathfinder with M/T. ( who flew his car while climbing up the dune):028:
Well I have access to 2 Nissan Pathfinders.
1. 2009 model ( :like: on Sheikh Zayed road) but its not recommended in dessert because of minimum ground clearance.
2. 2004 model with Manual transmission. which is made for desserts but not mine for various reasons.
Problems.
If you guys can put me in the right direction to cope with above mentioned problems would be great.
what I think is
Thank you in advance.

- The newbie Driver ( me)
- The tires (rims are big and tires are not wide)
- Manual transmission.
Problems.
- Clutch does not release fully everytime and sometimes gets stuck in the middle causing all sorts of power and performance issues.
- Shifting from 2nd gear to 1st gear is a nightmare maybe the gear box / clutch problem or the driver problem again as I drive auto throughout the week and then take this manual only on the weekend.
If you guys can put me in the right direction to cope with above mentioned problems would be great.
what I think is
- Change the gear box from manual to auto but m afraid if the mechanic is not good I will regret it for rest of my life
- Change the car altogether and get same model but with Automatic gear box
- Change the clutch plate / fix it in some way so that I only have to worry about dunes and not the gear shifting
Thank you in advance.
